Fixed or folding knife?

For your EDC, you might find a folder to be more user-friendly, but a compact fixed blade definitely brings some serious strength to the table. Which option do you think works best for you?

Folders are the way to go for EDC. They fit nicely in your pocket and are legal in more areas. Sure fixed blades are sturdier but they’re also bulkier and not always the best option for EDC. A solid folder can take care of 99% of your daily needs without an issue.

i carried folding knives forever but then I started doing more stuff outdoors, like camping and dressing game. I like a short fixed blade on my belt now.

For pure strength a fixed blade is hard to beat but convenience usually pushes me toward a folder for EDC.
