I'm planning a trip to visit family, and I want to bring along a firearm. The only problem is I've got to go through New York State, which complicates things a bit. If I try to avoid NY, it adds way too much time to my trip. Just wondering if anyone's had a similar situation and how you worked it out. Any tips or advice would be appreciated. Not looking for a perfect plan, just some ideas that might help.
