Leather cleaner recos

I always turn to Bick 4 Leather Conditioner. It’s been my favorite for years. I’ve used it on all sorts of things, from old saddle scabbards to rifle slings, and even on a pair of boots I just can’t bear to retire. What I really love about it is that it cleans and conditions without leaving a greasy film or darkening the leather too much. It keeps the leather looking sharp and feeling supple, even after long hunts in humid weather.

I’ve found that saddle soap is a reliable choice for cleaning leather, including rifle scabbards. It’s gentle enough to protect the leather while still being effective against dirt and grime. After that, I like to apply a bit of mink oil to keep the leather soft and supple. It’s a classic combo that has always served me well.
