Once you’ve attached an optic, what’s your go-to method for confirming that it’s zeroed before you consider the setup done?

I usually start at 25 yards just to confirm I’m actually hitting the paper. Once I’m sure the rounds are landing where they should, I’ll head out to my real 0 distance and fine-tune it from there. The part I trust the most is the “shake-out” phase. I’ll run a few mags, shoot a bit quicker, change my positions, and maybe do some transitions then check the 0 again. If it hasn’t shifted after the gun warms up and I’ve put in some effort, that’s when I feel confident that the optic is truly settled.
