Which coating is better?

Between Cerakote and nitriding, which one really holds up under heavy use after firing thousands of rounds?

Cerakote looks cool and you can get it in different colors, but for pure wear resistance, I prefer nitriding. When I'm training a lot, I care more about how long something lasts than how it looks.
