For anyone out there running cans on gas guns, what mounting setups have you found that help control backpressure and cut down on gas in the face? I'm interested in which brake designs and thread standards worked well with your recoil systems and gas tuning. Any details on your build specs and suppressor models would be really appreciated!

For my 11.5s, I've had the most success using simple, low-profile mounts paired with a slightly restricted gas block, an H2 buffer and a Sprinco Blue. This setup smooths out the recoil and minimizes gas blowback to my face. The thread-on direct mounts have been among the cleanest-running options for me but I've also been impressed by some of the newer low-backpressure QD systems.

If I am using a gas guns with suppressors, I prefer simple thread mounts and adjusted gas. Adjustable gas blocks and heavier buffers did more to keep gas out of my face than fancy muzzle devices did.
