The night vision setup that changed how I think about property security

I am not running a high-end military setup or anything close to a ten thousand dollar system. I picked up a practical gen 2 monocular that lets me see out to about 150 yards in the dark on my property. I have used it to check on hog activity, watch coyotes move through and a couple of situations I would rather not get into publicly. If you have land to manage, it is one of those tools that quickly proves its value.

My Gen 2 monocular just lives in my truck these days. The other night, around 2am, I caught a whole pack of coyotes moving through the back pasture without spooking them at all. For what you'd pay for just a mediocre scope, you get actual night vision and it's been great for how I manage the land.

For keeping an eye on your property especially at night, a Gen 2 monocular is a pretty sweet spot. You really don't need all that fancy SOCOM-level gear just to figure out what's moving around out there.
