Ran two different lot numbers of the same ammo back to back

I took two boxes of the same brand and same product name, just different lot numbers from separate purchases. At 100 yards I saw about a 1.5 inch shift in point of impact. It was not a big deal but it was enough to matter for precision shooting. It made me start marking lot numbers because consistency really does start at the box.

True, wind and shooter input matter but repeated pattern across lots still convinced me to track them.
