Best 9mm Carry Ammo Recommendations

I've been carrying a Glock 19 for about a year now, but I'm still on the fence about the best 9mm self-defense ammo. Any suggestions on hollow points that people have had good luck with?

Federal HST 124gr or 147gr.

HST is a proven round. The bullet retains its weight, exhibits excellent penetration, and its expanded diameter is impressive.

All you could ever want to know about 9mm defensive ammunition.

I've carried a G19 too, when it comes to ammo, everyone's got their favorites, but reliability in your gun is super important. I'd suggest testing a few quality hollow points at the range. what's worked best for you so far?

Unless you're aiming for higher velocity and can handle the extra wear and snappier recoil, try to avoid making +P your default. And don’t forget to use only the ammo that your pistol is rated for.

Back in the 80's, Massad Ayoob recommended the Federal 9BP. That is what I use and it is not too expensive at Target Sports when in stock.
