I've been digging into whether binary triggers are legal in Connecticut and it’s kind of confusing. I’m a bit of a newcomer to the state, and things can vary so much from place to place. Last weekend, I was at the range and overheard some guys talking about it, but no one seemed super sure. I did some research online, and I think it varies depending on the specific firearm and how they define it. If anyone has experience or knows the laws better, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Are there specific rules I should be looking out for? Just trying to stay on the right side of things.

Connecticut laws on binary triggers are super confusing. Some say it depends on how the state defines them and what firearm they're on, it is probably safest to ask an FFL or attorney

Which part of Connecticut are you in?
